Here are the usual scars that can develop from acne:

Ice-pick scars that have a very small, deep, and narrow shape.

Boxcar scars that have a broad depression with sharply defined edge.
Atrophic scars that are flat, thin, shallow, and depressed.
Hypertrophic and keloid scars that are raised lumps of scar tissue.
