What is EMTONE?
EMTONE is the only device of its kind that simultaneously delivers thermal and mechanical energy to reduce the appearance of cellulite. It also applies heat to the body to raise tissue temperature, relieving pain and muscle spasms and increasing local circulation.
How does it work?
This combination device functions using monopolar radio frequencies and pressure wave therapy to tighten the skin. It hones safe electrical energy through a hand piece.
During an EMTONE session, your technician will place a grounding pad on your back that emits acoustic waves that stimulate the skin. They will apply the machine onto a treatment medium, applying adequate downward pressure, rubbing in slow circular motions.
As radiofrequency energy flows through the body, it warms the skin to temperatures between 42 and 44 degrees Celsius. At this temperature, collagen in the body undergoes structural changes, improving skin texture and elasticity over a few sessions.
EMTONE is entirely painless, with sensations akin to a hot stone massage combined with mechanical vibrations.
Most EMTONE treatments require at least four initial sessions, performed once every 5 days to a week. A single treatment will take between 20 to 35 minutes. After that, we recommend periodic maintenance treatments every six to twelve months. Unlike other more invasive cellulite and skin tightening treatments, EMTONE does not require any downtime. Patients can immediately return to work after an EMTONE session.
