Spider veins are small, flat, and damaged veins. They are twisted like a striking spider web pattern. They appear on the surface of the face and legs, they might be purple, red or blue vessels. 

They are visible on the skin, harmless and painless.

Varicose Veins are large, raised swollen blood that twist and usually appear in the legs.

They are sometimes painful, cause cramps and burn feelings.

Varicose vein appears when valves inside the legs’ veins stop working well and circulate blood just in one direction due to many factors. 

On the face, the broken capillaries which are bursting of tiny blood vessels appear due to high blood pressure, allergy, chronic disease, medication or sun damage, spider veins are present.

Many factors play a big role for the presence of Spider veins and varicose, including:

  • Genetics: family history is present in 90% of the cases
